(01) INTRODUCTION

We completely overhauled Megabon's platform to create a cohesive experience for both new and existing users. We rebuilt the interface with modern visuals, user-focused workflows and a design system that supports scaling.

By streamlining the navigation and addressing the core pain points, we delivered a platform that is both intuitive and engaging, and that reflects where Megabon is going rather than where it has been.

(02) THE CLIENT

About Megabon

Megabon is a travel agency specialising in accommodation, resorts, hotels and travel plans. The project focused on bringing the design in line with their branding while creating a seamless experience: updating every interface element, rethinking the key flows, and building proper navigation and search.

(03) RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS

Research and analysis

We started with an in-depth audit of the existing website to find where it was losing people. That analysis, together with a full review of Megabon's brand guidelines, became the basis for the design strategy.

(04) DESIGN SYSTEM

Design system

Colour

The palette is centred on Megabon's pastel red, which carries warmth and trust rather than urgency.

Typography

Mark Pro applied consistently across headings, paragraphs and interface elements, so the brand holds together from a marketing page to a booking form.

Components

A suite of reusable components, including buttons, forms and navigation elements, so the team can build new pages without redesigning the basics each time.

(05) KEY FEATURES

Key features

Advanced search

Search was rebuilt around the parameters people actually plan with: destination, number of travellers and length of stay. Filtering happens where the decision is being made, rather than in a separate step.

Responsive throughout

The site was designed to work properly on desktop and mobile, with particular attention to touch interactions and to navigating on a phone, which is where a lot of travel browsing happens.

(06) PROTOTYPING AND TESTING

Prototyping and testing

We built an interactive prototype so Megabon's stakeholders could use the site before it existed. That is what made the feedback specific, and it is why the changes happened in Figma rather than after launch.

(07) RESULTS

What changed

  • Better engagement. A clearer, more appealing experience that encourages people to browse more destinations, with search that gets them to the right one quickly.
  • Consistent across devices. A mobile experience that matches the desktop one, which matters because a significant share of Megabon's visitors arrive on a phone.
  • A coherent brand. The design system, built on Megabon's own colours and typography, makes the site read as a modern, reliable travel provider rather than a listings page.

The redesign aligned the site with the brand's evolving identity and improved how it works at the same time. The advanced search, the mobile-first attention and the scalable design system are what set Megabon up to keep building on it.
